The majority of the doctors’ appointments are be available on-the-day, via the askmygp system. This can be done:

- Over the phone or at reception.
The clinicians will have the facility to book you in on-the-day, if you contact us early.
The request you send through on-line, or via telephone, will be dealt with directly by a clinician. Reception staff have also been trained to direct your call to the most appropriate person and in many instances they will be able to assist with any queries which are related to:
- Hospital appointments
- Blood tests, urine tests, X-ray results
- Private medicals, insurance and medical reports
- Sick notes
Practice nurse appointments can be booked 1 month in advance.
When we are closed, do not forget the New Mills Clinic (Just past the swimming pool/Leisure Centre), Hyde Bank Road, New Mills and is open 18.30- 22:30 Monday to Friday, and 09:30 - 22:30 weekends and bank holidays. Outside these hours, please call 111.

If you would like a chaperone present during your consultation, then please advise the receptionist when booking your appointment or when checking in. You may also ask the doctor during the consultation.
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else. Patients who frequently do not attend their appointments may be removed from our list. For more details please read the "not attending for appointments" page.
