Private Work Fees

Some services provided are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore attract charges. Examples include the following:

  • Medicals for pre-employment, driving requirements (HGV, PSV etc.) and some sports
  • Insurance claim forms
  • Prescriptions for taking medication abroad
  • Private sick notes
  • Vaccination certificates

The fees charged (see below) are based on the British Medical Association (BMA) suggested scales and our reception staff will be happy to advise you about them along with appointment availability.

Please note the current methods of payment are either cash or BACS.

Holiday Vaccines 

Many vaccines are provided free of charge through the NHS.  For other vaccines e.g. rabies, yellow fever, japanese encephalitis where fees will be incurred, you may be asked to visit a private travel clinic.
